Hot Club will be back to its old self this week after a very successful blues themed week! Thank you to everyone who came to the lesson and stayed all night. We had a great mix of Blues, Slow Jazz, Lindy, and Bal music thanks to Kristy!
Attention!!!
Hot Club will be starting 30 minutes later this week. Beginner lesson starts at 7:30 and the dance starts at 8:30. We will also be playing music later, with music going until 11:30. Plan on staying out later, it will be worth it!
MORE Attention!!!!!
We only need one more person to sign up for “Iron Chef – Hot Club” for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Hot Club dances and classes. We will be announcing the secret ingredient at Hot Club this week, so our contestants will want to be there for the announcement and get a leg up on the competition.
The best part is that everyone who comes in two weeks will have the pleasure of eating their concoctions. So come out this week and find out what you will be eating on the 24th.

Beginner lesson (Starts at 7:30)-
Charleston– It’s been a while since we’ve taught a Charleston beginner lesson. We love Charleston! It’s a fun and easy dance that will have you dancing easily at high tempos. Like all dances we teach, this dance will fit into any swing dance you already know. Come out and learn the basics of this grandfather of all swing dances. This class will be taught by Rebecca Brightly and Joe Jackson, and is a great place to start for beginners. Bring all your friends!
DJs (8:30-11:30)-
Our Feature DJ this week is the one and only Adam Sheltz. Adam is a fixture in the swing dance community as both an instructor and DJ. We’ve finally managed to wrangle him to DJ for us. Adam will keep you on your feet all night, so come prepared!
Our House DJ this week is Rebecca Brightly. Yes it’s true. She will be teaching the lesson and then going straight to DJing. She is a woman of many talents and she is sure to please.
